Earthlife Africa Johannesburg, Inner City Resource Centre and other community based organisation gathered thousands protesters to the march to the French Consulate. The grievances of the people are that, the Engie, a French government owned company, is investing in dirty coal in South Africa when it has the resources and technology to invest in clean renewables.
The Inner City Resource Centre together with other organisations had a march to raise the awareness about the killing and attacking of the fellow Africans. The issue of Xenophobia is not only affecting the living in South Africa but also the Africa as a whole.
